First and most important : Do you live in an area were wolfdogs are legal ? In some states they may be legal in the state as a whole, but illegal in some cities . In some places you may need to have a license or you may only be able to own an animal up to a  certain content of wolf.  Check this out with your local animal control before calling any one about buying a pup.

     Second do you have the proper living area required for your new family member ? Many people think they will be able to keep a wolfdog as a house pet. They are not Yorkie's. Your wolfdog may be Ok inside with you at times, but they need a great deal of exercise. You will need an area preferably at least 10 by 20 feet a min. of 6 ft. high with a top, and what we call ground wire or dig grade  to prevent digging out.

     Are you willing to give the time to continue to socialize your pup? The enjoyment you get from owning these dogs will be in proportion to the amount of time you put into it. Many end up in shelters when the owner find out they can be destructive they love to chew and to dig. Hint ! (wolves live in dens.) . They can give a lot of love. Many people will tell you they are the best dogs they have ever owned.

     I have  had many people tell me their dogs are so smart they are scary at times . They are amazing  at learning to open doors and gates .  I have ask permission from some  people who own our pups from past litters to give references If you wish we will give you that information .
